What is NMN?

Nicotinamide Mononucleotide (NMN), is a naturally occurring molecule present in all species. On the molecular level, it is a ribonucleotide, a basic structural unit of the nucleic acid RNA. It consists of a nicotinamide group, a ribose, and a phosphate group. NMN is a precursor of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+), a molecule that may be useful in slowing down some aspects of aging. NAD+ serves many critical functions in our cells, such as electron transport, cell signaling, and DNA repair.

Natural sources of NMN include fruits and vegetables such as broccoli, cabbage, edamame, cucumbers and avocados. For instance, NMN-rich vegetables like broccoli and cabbage contain 0.25–1.12 and 0.0–0.90 mg NMN/100 gm, fruits like avocado and tomato contain 0.36–1.60 and 0.26–0.30 mg NMN/100 gm, whereas raw beef has 0.06–0.42 mg NMN/100 gm.

What is PQQ?

PQQ, a novel vitamin-like compound found in a variety of foods that is showing a wide range of benefits to brain and body function. It contributes to nerve growth factor (NGF) production, helps to nourish the nerves and supports recovery from brain injury. One key action of PQQ involves a direct action on key enzymes in mitochondria. In line with its powerful antioxidant effect, PQQ protects against mitochondrial damage. Our product contains 20MG of PQQ which can further supports your energy metabolism and healthy aging.

What is Pterostilbene?

Pterostilbene is a natural compound that belongs to a class of phytochemicals called stilbenes, similar to resveratrol. It's found in various plants like blueberries, grapes, and almonds. Pterostilbene has gained attention due to its potential health benefits, such as antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. It's being researched for its possible role in promoting heart health, brain function, and even potential anti-cancer effects.

How Does NMN + PQQ works?

Humans contain enzymes that can use NMN to produce NAD+, which has the ability to repair broken cells and repair DNA information, enhancing our body's ability to replicate cells.

This has an anti-aging benefit since reproduced cells in our bodies will no longer decline to the same extent due to information loss, and previously degenerated cells will be repaired gradually.

By taking our Ensonkan NMN + PQQ, it aims to boost your NAD+ levels and therefore reverse this decline. Taking NMN can increase both energy levels and endurance. It boosts metabolism, muscle strength, and body weight while our PQQ supports your mitochondrial function.

How much NMN + PQQ do I need to take for it to be effective?

Based on recent human and animal studies of efficacy and safety into consideration and calculating optimal NMN doses, the recommended dose that adults between 30- and 60-years old take is 500 mg per day. For PQQ, the suggested dosage per day is between 20 - 40 mg in adults with the purpose to maintain mitochondrial health.

When is the best time to take NMN + PQQ?

NMN (Nicotinamide mononucleotide) and PQQ (Pyrroloquinoline quinone) are supplements that are often taken together to support cellular health and function. The best time to take NMN + PQQ depends on your personal preferences and the reason for taking the supplements.

Some people prefer to take NMN + PQQ in the morning with breakfast, as it can help to provide a boost of energy and mental clarity throughout the day. Others prefer to take it in the evening, as it may support healthy sleep and recovery.

If you are taking NMN + PQQ to support exercise performance, it may be best to take it about an hour before your workout. If you are taking it for general cellular health and anti-aging benefits, it may be best to take it consistently at the same time each day.

It's always a good idea to consult with a healthcare professional before starting any new supplement regimen. They can provide personalized recommendations and advice based on your individual health needs and any medications you may be taking.

Why is NMN so expensive?

NMN is a very difficult molecule to manufacture. Until very recently, it was almost prohibitively expensive to manufacture. New production processes enabled the price to go down significantly, but NMN is still a very expensive supplement to produce, especially if you want to achieve high-quality, high-purity NMN.

What is the difference between NR and NMN?

The molecular structures of NMN and NR are roughly the same, except NMN has an added phosphate group. This added phosphate group makes NMN a larger molecule than NR. NMN is an immediate precursor to NAD+ and it readily and directly converted to NAD+ by the action of the enzyme NMNAT. NR is an indirect precursor which it requires conversion to NMN via an enzyme (NRK) before converting into NAD+.

How long does it take to see results from NMN?

Recent studies clearly show that NMN is quickly absorbed from the gut into blood circulation within 2–3 min and it will have cleared the bloodstream and entered body tissue within 15 minutes which suggests people might start to feel effects relatively quickly. Short term results might manifest themselves in feelings of greater alertness and energy levels.

What are the Ingredients used?

MEDICINAL INGREDIENTS: NMN (Nicotinamide Mononucleotide) 200mg, PQQ (Pyrroloquinoline Quinone Disodium Salt) 20mg;

Hypromellose, cellulose, magnesium stearate, potato starch, silicon dioxide. This product does not contain mercury

MEDICINAL INGREDIENTS: NMN (Nicotinamide Mononucleotide) 250mg, PQQ (Pyrroloquinoline Quinone Disodium Salt) 10mg; Pterostilbene 50 mg

Hypromellose, cellulose, magnesium stearate, potato starch, silicon dioxide. This product does not contain mercury

What is the difference between the classic and new Ensonkan NMN + PQQ formula?

The main difference between Ensonkan NMN 200 MG + PQQ and Ensonkan NMN 250 MG + PQQ Pterostilbene 50mg lies in their additional ingredient:

  1. Ensonkan NMN 200 MG + PQQ: This product contains 200 milligrams of NMN (Nicotinamide Mononucleotide) paired with PQQ (Pyrroloquinoline Quinone). NMN is a precursor to NAD+ (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide), crucial for cellular energy production and repair. PQQ complements NMN by supporting mitochondrial health and biogenesis, aiding in energy production within the cells.
  2. Ensonkan NMN 250 MG + PQQ Pterostilbene 50mg: Similar to the first product, this variant contains 250 milligrams of NMN and PQQ for cellular energy and mitochondrial support. However, it includes an additional ingredient—Pterostilbene. Pterostilbene is a compound found in certain fruits, particularly in blueberries and grapes, known for its potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. By including Pterostilbene, this variant aims to enhance the antioxidant benefits beyond the NMN and PQQ combination. This latest addition to the Ensonkan product line pushes the boundaries of cellular health supplementation. By integrating NMN, PQQ, and Pterostilbene, it offers a unique opportunity to optimize cellular function, enhance resilience, and promote overall well-being from within.
